A vast chamber with an enchanted ceiling that mirrors the sky outside. Four long tables for the four houses. The teachers sit at the High Table, a table on a raised platform at the front of the room.

The Hogwarts library contains tens of thousands of books on thousands of shelves Included in its many sections is an Invisibility Section, a section with information about dragons and a Restricted Section at the back, set off with a rope. A signed note from a teacher is required to peruse that section of the library.

Hogwarts has a trophy room where all the old awards, trophies, statues, cups, plates, shields, and medals are kept in crystal display cases. There is also a list of all the Head boys and girls.

The rippling waters of Hogwart's Lake are home to many creatures of the deep; beware the Giant Squid! This is a great place to come and relax, alone or with friends.

The forest is thick with trees; oak, pine, sycamore and yew. There are paths, brooks, and some clearings. The forest is of course, forbidden to all students except when accompanied by an adult.

Tapping just the right brick in the wall behind the Leaky Cauldronwill reveal an archway which is a portal into Diagon Alley, a long cobbled street where is to be found a strange and exciting assortment of shops and restaurants. It is unquestionably the hub of commerce in the Wizarding World.

The Ministry of Magic is the governmental authority of the for the wizarding world in Britain. The basic mission of the Ministry is to keep the Muggles from finding out about an entire culture of magical folk. It's a huge, complicated, and inefficient bureaucracy, just like most governmental organizations. Currently, the MoM is run by Lord Voldemort.
