Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to use the actor/actress that portrayed my character in the films?
Yes. Unless your character, (Pansy Parkinson for instance is one of them) appeared only once or twice in the films, you must have Daniel Radcliffe as your celebrity if you're Harry Potter for example. This is vice versa for original characters. You cannot have Tom Felton as your celebrity if you're Bob Jones. Also, please try as hard as possible for the celebrity to match the age of your character. We can't have any George Clooney first years!
Are there scheduled classes?
I find it annoying having to go to every class at a certain time. It's a hassle if you live in different time zones as well. Plus some people just don't have the time to go to all the classes, therefore all classes are optional, you can attend as many and as little as you like.
Why does my RP sample have to be as my character?
If you're a canon character then your RP sample does have to be as your character. This shows me that you know how to RP as your character which is the most important thing. I like to be consistent so I am saying that even original character applications must have an RP sample as their character. (you can cheat and just change the name used in the sample to your current originals name ... Shhh! I didn't say that!)
Can I "dress up" my application form?
Of course! I'm all for originality so feel free to set out the application differently, use different fonts and colours and add any other information. All I ask is that the things I've asked to be filled in, are filled in appropriately. This leads me on to my next point which is if you can't write 3 paragraphs for personality, don't join (or delete your account)! This is an literate to advanced RP site.
Can I post an Application for the canon I want, even though it's reserved?
Of course! A little competition never hurt anyone. You'd have to wait until the person who originally reserved the character has posted their application as well but once all applications have been fully completed, I will judge on who deserves the character the most. Also, if someone has posted an application for a canon but it hasn't yet been accepted, you can also post an application for the same canon.
If you have any other questions or queries, PM me.
